The ASNG facilitate two 5 hour professional development days annually. These are usually held in mid and end of year to coincide with the seniors exam timetable.
HPCA Portfolio requirements stipulate that 60hrs appropriate professional development must be undertaken within a 3 year period. Every effort is made by the committee to ensure that the study days are relevant to school nursing taking into account feedback from Training Needs Analysis.
